RAMAPO, NY — A crash on New Hempstead Road Monday late afternoon sent a van into a tree and killed two people, Ramapo police said. The van had 10 occupants. Ramapo police reported the other eight people were injured, some seriously.Many police, fire and EMS agencies assisted at the scene, on New Hempstead Road near Conway Court.
