
Intense investigation into several fires set deliberately in Congers over the past seven months ended March 27, with the arrest of a third suspect.
Starting in August 2014, the Clarkstown Detective Division began investigating suspicious fires started in dumpsters, garbage cans and two separate vehicles.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fires.

On March 25, Jesse Wickes, 33, and Seth Levy, 30, both of Congers, were taken into custody by investigating detectives.
Wickes was charged with two counts of Arson 3rd (felony) and two counts of Criminal Mischief 4th (misdemeanor), stemming from two separate incidents. Levy was charged with one count of Arson 3rd (felony) and two counts of Criminal Mischief 4th(misdemeanor).

Both were arraigned in Clarkstown Justice Court. Bail was set at $5,000 and both were sent to the Rockland County Jail. They will return to court on March 30.
On March 27, Kenneth Tagle, 39, of Congers was arrested by the investigating detectives.
He was charged with one count of Arson 3rd (felony) and one count of Criminal Mischief 4th (misdemeanor).
Tagle was arraigned in Clarkstown Justice Court. Bail was set at $5,000 and he was also sent to the Rockland County Jail. Tagle will return to court on April 1.
