Bardonia Woman Found with Suboxone: Clarkstown Police

She was a passenger in a car stopped for a traffic violation.

New York State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 for a traffic violation at 11:07 p.m. june 25.

The passenger of the vehicle, Kaitlyn M. Blumenfeld of Bardonia, NY, was found to be in possession of less than 5 grams of marijuana, and 1 suboxone film strip.

(Suboxone was created to treat opiate addiction. A painkiller, it is itself addictive and is traded illegally. It is a Schedule III Controlled Substance.)

The 27-year-old was transported and processed and charged with the following:

  • Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Class A Misdemeanor
  • Unlawful Possession Marijuana, Violation

Blumenfeld was released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Clarkstown Court on July 15,
