The Clarkstown Baseball Association conducts tryouts on Sunday for the upcoming 2012 Summer Season for its 17 and under College Showcase Team. The tryouts take place at the Nyack College Sports Bubble from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and cost $35.  Pre-registration is required at <a href="http://www.clarkstownstars.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.clarkstownstars.com</a>, there is no day of event registration.  The tournament travel program, Stars Elite, focuses on player development and college placement for prospective student athletes. Ken Ulrich, a West Nyack native and graduate of Clarkstown South High School, coaches Stars Elite. He is varsity assistant coach at North Rockland High School.  Joining him on the Stars Elite coaching staff are Joe Zeccardi and Dan Neil. Zeccardi is the head baseball coach at Rockland Community College and Neil is varsity assistant coach at Clarkstown South High School.
