Boulders Fall To Capitales For Sixth Straight Time
Rockland hosts Pittsfield Colonials at Provident Bank Park for the first time this season tonight.

The Quebec Capitales took a 6-5 victory to sweep a three-game series from the Rockland Boulders on Wednesday night in Can-Am League baseball action.
Rene Leveret continued his strong play for Quebec in the series, collecting three RBIs on two hits in the contest.
The Boulders scored the game’s first two runs in the top of the third on a pair of RBI singles from newcomer Mike Richard, his first in a Rockland uniform, and Sean Smith. However, the Capitales stormed right back in the bottom of the frame with a pair of runs of their own.

Leveret and Pete Laforest both nabbed RBI singles in the inning off Rockland starter Roger Lincoln, to tie the game at 2-2.
Rockland took the lead, 3-2, in the next inning on a Cole Kraft RBI base hit to plate teammate Joe Hage from third. But it was the Capitales answering with a couple of tallies to take the advantage.

Goefrey Tomlinson doubled in Jeff Helps, which was later followed by a sacrifice fly from Robert Wagner, giving Quebec the 4-3 lead.
Ryan Mollica helped the Boulders tie the game in the top of the sixth after his two-base hit scored Cristobal Santana.
Leveret broke the 4-4 tie in the bottom of the seventh with a two-run blast to give the Capitales the 6-4 edge
Rockland scratched one across late in the ninth, however it was not enough as Quebec held on for the victory.
Lincoln is charged with his fifth loss of the year giving up five runs on seven hits over 6 2/3 innings. Rayner Oliveros grabbed his first win of the season for Quebec after an inning pitched. TJ Stanton recorded his eighth save for Quebec.
The Boulders welcome in the Pittsfield Colonials to Provident Bank Park for the first time this season, with a three game series starting tonight night at 7:05. Jonathan Velasquez goes on the hill for the Boulders.
