Boulders' Lefty Lincoln Named Pitcher Of the Week
He threw for seven innings in Friday win against Newark Bears.

Rockland Boulders lefty pitcher Roger Lincoln has been selected Pitcher of the Week by Pointstreak, the official statistician of the Can-Am League.
Lincoln was solid in his 4-3 win over the Newark Bears Friday. The Riverview, FL, resident tossed seven innings allowing one earned run on four hits with two walks and four strikeouts. He is 1-0 on the season with a 1.29 ERA.
Pointstreak provides sports management and business solutions for professional, collegiate, and junior sports leagues as well as for amateur and recreational sports leagues.
Last seaon, Lincoln was with the Rockford RiverHawks of the independent Northern League. A former 34th round pick of the Cleveland Indians in the 2003 MLB Draft, Lincoln went 6-8 with a 5.88 ERA in 22 games for the RiverHawks. He struck out 52 batters over 108.2 innings, and averaged 2.2 walks per game.
