Boulders' Sean Smith Is Batter Of The Week

His top game was against Pittsfield Colonials, going 2-for-3 with two home runs, four RBIs and three runs scored.

Rockland Boulders center fielder Sean Smith is the Pointstreak Batter of the Week in the Can-Am League for the week ending June 5th.

In his last six games, Smith put together a .333 batting average and .416 on base percentage. The 28-year-old hit three home runs over the span, which ties him for second overall in the league. He also knocked in nine RBIs and crossed home plate seven times himself.

Smith’s biggest performance came against the Pittsfield Colonials on May 30, when he went 2-for-3 with two home runs, four RBIs and three runs scored.

Smith was drafted out of high school in 15th round by Pittsburgh Pirates in the 2000 MLB Draft, and holds a professional career batting average of .257 with 66 homeruns and 334 RBIs.
