The Rockland Boulders defeated the Brockton Rox, 5-3, on Thursday night in Can-Am League baseball action.
The teams were rained out Wednesday at Provident Bank Park in Pomona and were set to play a double-header Thursday. However, bad weather delayed the start of game one, forcing game two to be cancelled.
Sean Smith got his fifth home run of the season in the game against the Rox. Drew Coffey picked up his first win ever as a Boulder, throwing five innings of shutout ball while striking out five.
The Boulders (9-14) are scheduled to host the New York Federals at 7:05 tonight in the first of a four-game set at Provident Bank Park.
