“Singles was relatively easy for us,” said the Rams head coach Alan Schwartz. “Doubles, they pushed us a little bit and we had to play pretty good pass. They are very competitive and we did well. I don’t want to say we played our best, but we did well enough.”
In the end, North yet again showed themselves to be the consistently dominant tennis team that they proved to be last year and are looking to be this year.

“Our top three doubles teams once again were very good. They played well in a competitive situation and that’s what they need to do. They need to really step up their play. We have Suffern next week, which is going to be a big match for us and we have to play very well against them to win.”
With Friday’s win, they are well on their way to their goal of repeating last years undefeated championship run.
North plays next at Albertus on Tuesday at 4:15 p.m.
