Clarkstown Police: Macy's Shoplifting was an Inside Job
An employee helped two other women walk out with more than $4,000 in clothes and accessories.

Clarkstown police were called to Macy’s at the Palisades Mall a 8:10 p.m. Dec. 13 for a report of shoplifting.
The suspects, Latoya Brown, 23 and Haillee Jones, 19, both of Haverstraw, NY and Ashley Hernandez, 20, of Stony Point, NY were reportedly observed by loss prevention employees taking merchandise—clothing and accessories—valued at $4,101.42.
Jones, a Macy’s employee, allowed Brown and Hernandez to bypass the cash register without paying for the merchandise by creating a transaction and then cancelling it.
