Daily Sports Digest: Local Swimmers Compete in Preliminaries

With the majority of the fall seasons over for local teams high school students are beginning to prepare for winter sports. One of the sports that is still going strong is girl’s swimming which held the preliminaries last night at Felix Festa Middle School.

The section 1 championship finals will be held on Wednesday at Felix Festa.

Sport: Girl’s Swimming

Game: Section One Preliminaries

Clarkstown Highlights: Rachel Kim finished first overall in the 50 Freestyle, and she was followed closely by teammate Briana Keaveney who came in fourth. Kim also came in second in the 100 Butterfly, and Paige Poleway came in third in the 100 Freestyle.
