It wasn’t the best day for soccer in the local area as the Rams fell to the visiting Huguenots and the Vikings fell in a close loss to Suffern. On the other hand both the Rams and Falcons won hard fought volleyball matches.

Game: New Rochelle @ Clarkstown North
Score: Clarkstown North Lost 3-2
Highlights: The Huguenots took to the road and came back from Rockland with a win thanks to goals from Joelson Silva, William Lopez and Sergio Rico. In the victory Jack Roth had 4 saves for New Rochelle. In the loss the Rams goals were scored by Martin Domosi and Tony Oprisik.

Game: Suffern @ Clarkstown South
Score: Clarkstown South Lost 2-1
Highlights: Clarkstown South fell to Suffern by one goal for the second time this season. Suffern has given the Vikings only two losses in the last 7 games.

Game: Monroe Woodbury @ Clarkstown North
Score: Clarkstown North Won 3-1
Highlights: In a very competitive four set match the Rams found a way to win. Marie Guistino led the way with 13 kills while Brittany DeGaetano had 2 kills and 14 assists.

Game: Albertus Magnus @ Maria Regina
Score: Albertus Magnus Won 3-2
Highlights: It took 5 sets for the Falcons to escape Maria Regina with a victory but thanks to 22 kills from Mallary McFadden and 20 assists from Brianne Gallagher Albertus Magnus was able to find a win on the road.

In volleyball, Nanuet will host Albertus Magnus at 4.
In boy’s soccer, Albertus Magnus will host Spring Valley at 4:30.
In girl’s soccer, Pearl River will square off against Albertus Magnus at 4.
