Local fields were blanketed by snow but several local teams found a way to compete anyway. Five local soccer games took place over the weekend and while the boys from Albertus and North fell in close games the South boy’s team beat New Rochelle. South’s girl’s team also won with relative ease while the Falcons needed three overtimes to come away with a victory on the road.
Albertus Magnus and Clarkstown South both won home volleyball games, while the Falcon football team fell at home.
