Ryan Jelen led Clarkstown South with four goals and Vinny Bernardone and Justin Said each scored two goals in the loss. Joseph Buzzetti, Thomas Lent, Phil Maas and Brian Foley each scored once for the Vikings.

Rockland Boulders to Host Pitch, Hit & Run
This Saturday the Rockland Boulders will host the Aquafina Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run Competition on Saturday starting at 8 a.m. The competition is free to participate and girls and boys ages 7-14 are invited to compete.
There is no preregistration required but participants will be asked to provide a form of age verification (birth certificate) and all participants must sign a registration and waver form.
No metal spikes are allowed and you can contact the Boulders with questions or comments at (845) 364-0009
Canty & Crew Golf For Charity
The Chris Canty Foundation will be hosting the first annual Champions Golf Classic on Monday, May 14 at Manhattan Woods Golf Club in West Nyack.
The Champions Golf Classic is hosted by New York Giant Defensive End Chris Canty and several of his Super Bowl Champion teammates are expected to attend.
The Foundation’s website puts it best saying, “The Champions Golf Classic is a great opportunity for golfers of all levels to measure their skills against one of New York State’s top ranked courses, rub elbows with several members of the Super Bowl XLVI Champion New York Giants and other top athletes and celebrities, while supporting a great cause.”
Currently the golf event is sold out but there are still several tickets available for the awards dinner following the tournament. Call to register today at (704) 845-4601.

Joe Girardi and the Yankees turned to Rafael Soriano in the ninth inning of last night’s 5-3 victory against the Rays. David Robertson is 1-1 in save chances this year and Soriano closed out the only game he has attempted so far, however the question still remains
