On Sunday afternoon, Sept. 18 at 2 p.m., the Borderline Folk Music Club will present a special house concert with Kim & Reggie Harris. Kim & Reggie have been electrifying audiences for the past 30 years in the USA, Canada, & Europe with their unique harmonies and fantastic acoustical arrangements of both, traditional as well as original material. Their performances are educational as well as entertaining and contain both, an historical as well as a cultural perspective. Opening the show is Steve Kelman, instrumentalist on both the guitar and the strumstick. Steve is a veteran folk musician from nearby Bergen County, NJ who has just released an album called "The River Acoustic."
This concert will also mark the return of Fay, to the music scene. She will also emcee the show. This concert will take place at Steve Shapiro's Living Room, located at 7 Trailside Court, New City. There is plenty of free parking on site. Admission is $20 per person ($15 if you are a Borderline member).
We also as that you bring a cold pot luck dessert dish to share with four other people. Please remember that we are an alcohol free venue. Because of limited seating capacity we ask that you make advance reservations by either emailing us at solz1@optonline.net or by calling us at 845-354-4586.
