Singer songwriter LORETTA HAGEN from West Milford, NJ will kick off the 2011 concert series at The Borderline Folk Music Club of Rockland County. She will be accompanied by Gary Hagen on guitar and Sara Gallman on harmony vocals. Loretta has a sweet alto voice and writes poingant songs about everyday life that tug at the heart strings. Her hit song "Sundown Till Dawn" was featured on the soundtrack of the movie "Ten Mountains, Ten Years". Loretta is on the board of directors of the National Alzheimer's Association in the quest for a cure. Her 90 year old mother is afflicted with the disease.
Immediately following the concert will be an open song circle and jam session so bring your instruments and voices. Come for the concert and stay for the festivities that follow it. Everyone is welcome.
