Registration is under way for Clarkstown residents ages 19 and under who might be determined to improve their golf game, or perhaps take up a sport that most everyone either comes to love or to hate. The Clarkstown Parks and Recreation Commission's annual fall golf lessons are scheduled to begin the week of Sept. 6 at Rockland Lake North Golf Course. The course, held on weekdays and Saturdays, runs six weeks for basic and intermediate instructions, and it runs four weeks for advanced players. The fee is $90, which includes a bucket of balls for each class at clubhouse rates. Registration is available at the parks and rec dministration building, 31 Zukor Road, New City.
