Kevin Cassady Steps Into Leadership Role to Guide Jawonio's Mission Forward in 2026

Rockland County, NY — February 17, 2026 — Jawonio Inc., a leading provider of lifespan services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral health challenges, and chronic medical needs, proudly announces the appointment of Kevin Cassady as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective February 17, 2026.
Cassady, who joined the Jawonio Board of Directors in 2023 following service on the organization’s Finance Committee, brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in television, digital, and print advertising. His career includes roles at Reader’s Digest, Time Inc., and Turner Broadcasting, as well as significant experience in luxury retail and cosmetics through his work with LVMH/DFS and Unilever’s Elizabeth Arden division.
A Minnesota native with a deep commitment to community service, Cassady has long been engaged in philanthropic efforts in Rockland County—including major support for the Rockland County Department of Social Services Emergency Family Shelter since 2009. He became connected to Jawonio’s mission after relocating to the region with his family and has since been an active and enthusiastic supporter.
In addition to his Board service, Cassady has contributed extensively to Jawonio’s fundraising and operational initiatives, volunteering on the Gala Committee and serving on the Tech Oversight Committee to advance technological infrastructure, preparedness, and cybersecurity across the organization.
