Local, In-Season and Ready for Eating

Shop for produce (and more!) at Rockland's Farmers' Markets.

From the Rockland County Health Department

Want fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, picked at the peak of flavor and packed with vitamins and minerals? If your answer is yes, the Rockland County Department of Health suggests you shop at one (or more!) of the many Farmers’ Markets in Rockland.

All of the markets listed below accept the New York State Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) to buy locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables. They also have farmers and vendors who can accept FreshConnect Checks (FCC). FreshConnect Checks are available to veterans of all ages, regardless of income, to ensure that they have access to fresh fruits and vegetables. Some Farmers’ Markets also accept Supplemental Assistance Nutrition Program (SNAP)/Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT).
