Man Arrested In NJ Guilty Of Raping 11-Year-Old Rockland Girl

SUFFERN, NY — A 40-year-old pleaded guilty Wednesday to first-degree rape in a case of sexual assault against an 11-year-old Suffern resident.
Suffern police announced Thursday that they had received a complaint in February. The Detective Bureau's investigation led to an arrest in Orange, New Jersey, and criminal charges against Santos L. Santana-Quintanilla.
His guilty plea carries a sentence of 11 years in prison, 20 years post-release supervision and required registration as a sex offender when released from prison, police said Thursday on Facebook.

"This incident could not have achieved its conclusion without the assistance of the following agencies; Rockland County Intel, NJ Palisades Interstate Parkway Police, Spring Valley PD, Rockland County District Attorney's Office Special Victim's Unit and the Orange Police Department in New Jersey," police said.
