New York City's Worst Landlord Lives in $1.45 Million Mansion in Wesley Hills: News Report

Robin Shimoff’s real estate properties in New York City currently carry 2,469 violations, Eric Bederman of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation & Development told Steve Lieberman of The Journal News.
Lieberman’s article in USA Today contrasts Shimoff’s Rockland County house with the information from city officials and the Landlord Watchlist compiled by the New York City Public Advocate’s Office.
According to the watchlist, Shimoff is the head officer of 3525 Decatur Avenue LLC, a real estate management company with the most code violations in New York City. Her company owns 7780 units in 13 buildings, which have 3352 violations outstanding.
