North Softball Team Searching For Memories Of Former Coach

They will be included in a booklet when the team dedicates its field in his honor

 

Clarkstown North will name its softball field after former coach John Sullivan, who died after teaching and coaching various sports at the school since 1971.

The dedication will take place May 17, but anyone with a favorite memory, story or quote about Sullivan is asked to send it to North Athletic Director Tess Brogan at tbrogan@ccsd.edu by today - April 25th. The collection of items sent in will be included in a booklet presented to the Sullivan family.

Sullivan coached the varsity softball team for many years, and was coaching the junior varsity softball team last year when he died. He also coach boys basketball, girl's basketball, boy's lacrosse and girl's tennis. Last year, the to Sullivan, as did the .
