The months-long probe focused on drug sales in the Village of Nyack, according to Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Walsh.
NEW CITY, NY — It's never too late for a little spring cleaning, especially when it comes to taking crack off the streets.
Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Walsh announced the results of "Operation Spring Cleaning" on Friday, after months of investigation by the Rockland County Drug Task Force into drug sales in the Village of Nyack. The operation was led Chief of Detectives Deirdre Smith and Director of Narcotics Task Force William Martinez.
"'Operation Spring Cleaning' was a great success," Walsh said, announcing the sting. "The work of the Narcotics Task Force is vital to ensure the safety of our community. Deadly substances like cocaine continue to threaten our communities, but these arrests from 'Operation Spring Cleaning' demonstrate that coordinated law enforcement efforts save lives and can make a difference."
