Patsy's Pizzeria Readies for Opening at The Shops at Nanuet

Simon’s The Shops at Nanuet will be adding another popular dining destination to its impressive roster of shopping, food and entertainment venues with the arrival of Patsy’s Pizzeria, which will open on September 10.

Patsy’s Pizzeria first opened its doors in New York City 1933, having been the dream of immigrant newlyweds Pasquale ‘Patsy’ and Carmella Lancieri. Patsy’s Pizzeria quickly established itself as a family style, old-fashioned neighborhood restaurant. Patsy’s Pizzeria catered to the growing population of Italian immigrants who longed for the cuisine of their homeland in a casual family style atmosphere. Since then, Patsy’s has established itself as the originator and leader of the family style pizza restaurant and over the years the East Harlem landmark has been a favorite of countless notable dignitaries. Now, Patsy’s will bring the same quality food and service to a new location at The Shops at Nanuet. The restaurant will be located on the corner of Fashion Drive across from P.F. Chang’s China Bistro.

“We are thrilled to welcome Patsy’s Pizzeria to our growing retail lineup,” said Ryan Hidalgo, mall manager for The Shops at Nanuet. “Patsy’s has become an institution in Manhattan and is now spreading to other areas, including opening its first location here in Rockland County. We expect Patsy’s will quickly become a favorite and gather a similar following that it enjoys at its other locations.”

Patsy’s opening follows in the footsteps of the recent opening of P.F. Chang’s China Bistro. The two new restaurants will join Banchetto Feast, Bonefish Grill, Corner Bakery Cafe, Cups Frozen Yogurt, Starbucks, Subway and Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar to form a distinguished and diversified lineup of eateries at The Shops at Nanuet that will satisfy any appetite. In addition, BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse is scheduled to open at the center in early 2015.
