CLARKSTOWN, NY — The driver of the car involved in Friday's fatal <a href="https://patch.com/new-york/newcity/crash-closes-route-303-clarkstown-cops">accident</a> has been identified as Helen Cifuni, 57, of Congers. The crash took place at about 5:20 p.m.The driver sustained massive injuries, Clarkstown police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The Rockland County Medical Examiner responded to the scene of the one-car accident and will conduct an investigation to determine the cause of death. The Clarkstown Police Accident Investigation Team is also investigating.
