Political Signs with Anti-Semitic Undertones Appear in Rockland

Condemnation has come from all sides.

WEST NYACK, NY — The yard signs that surfaced Monday around Rockland County have been roundly condemned as anti-Semitism masquerading as partisan political slogan.

The image conflates State Sen. David Carlucci, who is running for re-election, county Legislator Aaron Wieder, who is running for State Assembly, and the issue of public assistance rates in the orthodox Jewish communities in the county.

The image and message was condemned by both Carlucci and his opponent, Tom DePrisco, in the race for the 38th State Senate District seat, which covers much of Rockland County and Ossining in Westchester County.
