The Clarkstown school district's pool at Felix Festa Middle School in West Nyack has been closed over concerns for air quality at the pool. Schools Superintendent Margaret Keller-Cogan said the pool was closed today and will be closed Friday for further testing. Keller-Cogan said the district is working with the safety team of the Rockland Board of Cooperative Educational Services in West Nyack on a review of conditions at the pool. The pool was the site of a swim meet today, however, the event was called off because of conditions at the pool.
