Rockland County PBA Rescinds Endorsement of Hofstein, Endorses Kantrowitz for the New City Seat on the County Legislature
The Rockland County Patrolmen's Benevolent Association revoked its endorsement of Lon Hofstein for District 5 Rockland County Legislator.

From Kantrowitz 2014:
According to the Rockland County PBA website (http://www.rcpba.org):
“The Rockland County PBA is formally RESCINDING its endorsement of... Lon Hofstein - Rockland County Legislative District 5 (New City) Do Not Vote for this Candidate.”

They continue: “ The Rockland County PBA DOES support the following candidate [Barry Kantrowitz] in the upcoming election. ...The Rockland County PBA SUPPORTS this Candidate and requests that you come out and Vote for him on November 4. Vote For Barry Kantrowitz.
Kantrowitz said—“The most important function of government is to keep the people safe. I value people over politics, and I believe the budget should reflect that as well. I am proud to support Rockland law enforcement. “

In a letter to Kantrowitz, Rockland PBA President, Phil Fantasia wrote: “Your commitment to law enforcement and citizens of Rockland County has placed you above your peers”
