Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Zugibe announced today an indictment of Bryan Lora, the Rockland County Jail inmate who was selling oxycodone to other inmates and hiding them from officers in his rectum.

This indictment is not for that.

Zugibe said Lora, a New City resident, was indicted on March 13 by a Rockland County Grand Jury for the crimes of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd and 4th Degrees—in connection with a drug bust in September 2014.

The March 13 indictment states that Lora had been arrested in Clarkstown on Sept. 23, 2014, for possession of one eighth of an ounce of oxycodone and 41 small packets of heroin.

Lora had been arrested also in February 2015 following an earlier crackdown. A search of his home in New City at that time had revealed more than 400 oxycodone pills, over 90 wax paper bags of heroin and over $10,000 in cash, authorities said.
