Prosecutor Richard Kennison Moran has said the negotiations for the killing were recorded on audio, videotape and wiretaps, The Journal News reported.

TJN said that Bernstein was released from the Rockland County jail after his parents put up a bond of $600,000 using their homes in Florida and Rockland plus cash from family accounts. Gribeluk remained in jail on $600,000 bail.
