New City Rotarians Hold Blood Drive May 7

The Rotary Club of New City Blood Drive in Honor of Rocklander, Rotarian and Philanthropist Jeffery Keahon is scheduled for tomorrow.

The event will be held from 9 am to 6 pm Thursday in the St. Augustine School gymnasium, located at 140 Maple Ave. in New City.

Prospective blood donors are encouraged to schedule their donation online.

Jim Burton, who is the chairperson of the blood drive for the Rotary Club encourages people who cannot donate to please tell their family, friends and contacts.

“You never know how donating blood may have a personal connection in saving someone’s life that you know,” he said. Burton encourages people to come down with a friend and share a pint.
