Sloatsburg Man Faces DWI Charge in Clarkstown
State police stopped him for speeding on the Thruway.

At about 4 a.m. Oct. 10, State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 for speeding, reporting that it was going 90 mph in a posted 55 mph zone.
The driver of the vehicle, Eric D. Albert, 33 of Sloatsburg, NY was found to be intoxicated. Albert was transported and processed at SP Tarrytown, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.13 percent. Albert was charged with:
- Driving While Intoxicated, Unclassified Misdemeanor
Albert was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Clarkstown Court Oct. 28.
