Snakebite Victim Airlifted From Harriman State Park
The NYPD sent a rescue helicopter and the victim was hoisted in a patient extrication platform bag. See video inside.
SLOATSBURG, NY — A hiker bitten by a rattlesnake Saturday was rescued by park police, emergency medical services, and members of the aviation unit of the New York Police Department.
From Reeves Meadow, the victim was hoisted in a patient extrication platform bag and was transported to Montefiore Nyack hospital. She is expected to recover, police said.
