State Police: Greenwood Lake Man Charged with Possessing Child Porn

State Police raided Turner's Crystal Court home at 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Robert Turner, 59, of Greenwood Lake was arrested at his home early Tuesday morning after state police said Turner downloaded child pornography to a computer IP address belonging to him.

Members of the State Police in Monroe, Troop F Computer Crimes Unit and Troop F Major Crimes Unit raided Turner’s Crystal Court home at 7 a.m. and seized “numerous downloaded files” of the material, according to state police.

Turner was charged with a Class E Felony for allegedly possessing material that showed a sexual performance by a child, according to state police. He was arraigned in the Village of Greenwood Lake Court, and was held in lieu of $50,000 bail at Orange County Jail.
