State Police Stop Attempted Murder Suspect on the Thruway
He is wanted in Schenectady, police said.
At about 12:44 p.m. Wednesday, State Police stopped a 2006 Hyundai Elantra southbound on I-87 that matched the description of a vehicle driven by a suspect wanted for attempted murder by the City of Schenectady Police Department.
The driver, Christopher L. Cowen, 23, of Cohoes, NY, was taken into custody without incident.
The State Police were assisted at the scene by the Ramapo Police Department.
