Concert held to promote awareness and raise funds for Love 146 organization.
The Gracepoint Gospel Fellowship Church in New City held a concert on Saturday evening to raise awareness and money for the Love 146 organization, a group dedicated to ending child sex slavery and exploitation. The two-hour concert featured 11 artists singing various songs. The CCM Choir also performed during several acts during the concert which drew an audience of more than 400 people.
Several short videos were also shown explaining the Love 146 organization's mission of working to abolish child sex slavery throughout the world. The "146" in the title actually came from a young girl who was numbered for "sale" in a foreign brothel. Information about the organization is available online.
