WCFR 10+2 Anniversary & Fundraising Gala Honoree - Mario Alexandre

The WCFR 10+2 Anniversary and Fundraising Gala will be held on September 29th, 2023 from 7-11:30Pm at the Nyack Seaport.

Nyack, N.Y. (August 16, 2023) – Join Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc. on Friday, September 29th, 2023 for their Twelfth Anniversary and Fundraising Gala. The gala will bring together like-minded individuals and businesses who share the same belief that education and training can help save lives, while celebrating the organization's accomplishments and honoring their lifesaving partners. The event, from 7-11:30Pm, will be held on Friday, September 29th, 2023 at The Nyack Seaport. Attendees can expect a cocktail hour, live entertainment, and dinner.

Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc. proudly announces one of its Twelfth Anniversary and Fundraising Gala Lifesaving Partner Honorees: Mario Alexandre. WCFR is grateful for Mario Alexandre. He has supported WCFR by increasing awareness of its mission "to prevent deaths worldwide through education and training", serving as member of its advisory council board, and sponsoring its events and activities.

Mario Alexandre was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti and immigrated to the United States in the 1970’s. He graduated from Clarkstown High School and soon after obtained a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from the Dominican College of Blauvelt. He continued to pursue his higher education at Fordham University in the field of Social Work and Criminal Justice. Mario worked as a Parole Officer until his retirement from the Division of Parole after 28.5 years of dedicated service and commendation of service. Mario Alexandre joined Michele Cayo in matrimony at Saint Anthony’s Church in Nanuet, NY. Together, they raised two children, Paolo and Dominique, in Rockland County, New York.

Mario has led a life of service in the community and is a member of several organizations, including but not limited to: Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc., NYSFOP, Rockland County Shields; the Haitian American Law Enforcement United; the Detective Benevolent Association, as well as the “Konbit Neg Lakay” (Haitian Relief Association); and the Grand Council of Guardians.

Mario Alexandre has always and continues to uphold the pillars of justice in the communities where he lives to better the life of all people of all ethnic backgrounds, socio-economic conditions and religious creeds. His dedication to defend the disadvantaged knows no boundaries.

Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc. was founded in September 2011 with a mission "to prevent deaths worldwide through education and training". Their programs have proven to empower individuals in their own community and save lives. WCFR has educated and trained over 400,000 people worldwide. All funds raised at the gala will support their programs that save lives.
