Alert Issued for Missing Elmont Man
Cops issue Silver Alert for missing 71-year-old man.
A 71-year-old man has gone missing from his Elmont home and Nassau police need help finding him.
Ralph Dixon was last seen on Thursday at Village Avenue in Elmont. Dixon is described as 5-foot-8, weighing 180 pounds and has a brown mustache. It was not known what he was wearing.
Although it was uncertain where Dixon was heading, police say he frequently travels by Long Island Rail Road to Jamaica and Woodside.

A Silver Alert was issued by Nassau Police early Thursday morning to help locate Dixon.
