Breakfast at Town Hall for Summer Interns

Summer interns working at the Town of North Hempstead came together on Tuesday, July 22, to enjoy breakfast with town officials.

Supervisor Judi Bosworth hosted the breakfast to thank the interns for their efforts, and to speak to them about working in governments.

“I’m so glad you’re all getting the chance to get your start in government here at the Town of North Hempstead,” Bosworth told the interns.

“It’s so important that you all learn how local government works and understand the impact it has on all of your lives, while also gaining invaluable experience to take with you after this summer,” she added.

The interns had the chance to meet also with town councilmembers, town officials and staff, and fellow interns from different departments.
