Builders Club Raises Over $1K for Muscular Dystrophy Association
The funds will send a local child to MDA summer camp.

The Builders Club at New Hyde Park Memorial High School raised $1,104 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Shamrock Against Dystrophy Program.
The club, consisting of seventh graders, raised the funds during their lunch periods by selling homemade cupcakes, brownies, cookies, chocolate covered pretzels and more.

The money collected through the fundraising will send a local child to MDA summer camp for a week.
The $1,104 in funds was the most money the club has ever raised, according to adviser Gina Rodriguez.
