UPDATE: Man Robs Holbrook Bank

A Holbrook bank was robbed on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

According to police, a man entered Chase Bank, located at 991 Main St., at 1:18 p.m. and displayed a note to a teller demanding cash.

The teller complied and gave the man cash from the drawer, police said. The robber then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The robber is described as white, about 6-foot-2 with a thin build. He was wearing a black baseball cap and a black hooded sweatshirt at the time of the robbery.

The investigation is continuing and anyone with information is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.

It’s the third bank robbery in the area over the past week. On Monday, a man robbed a Chase Bank in Lake Ronkonkoma. Last Friday, a woman robbed a Citibank on Sunrise Highway in Holbrook.
