Cops: 100 Firefighters Battle Blaze in Garden City Park Office Building
Fire caused partial collapse in Atlantic Avenue office building Thursday night, cops said.

A raging fire was tackled by 100 firefighters Thursday night in a Garden City Park office building, according to Nassau County Police.
Garden City Park firefighters descended on 194 Atlantic Avenue at 8 p.m. After assessing the scene, several other departments were called to battle the blaze that had already caused a partial collapse of the building, cops said.

Approximately 100 firefighters and 20 fire engines worked to bring the fire under control and eventually extinguish it, cops said.
No injuries were reported.

The cause is still being investigated by detectives, cops said.
Long Island Railroad temporarily suspended service and reported delays on the nearby line as late as 8:38 a.m.
