The hives are now full of fresh honey that the Preserve will extract and bottle as Guggenheim Estate Golden Honey.

Submitted by Sands Point Preserve

The 2014 Bee Whispering Workshops conclude with the annual Honey Harvest this Sunday, August 10 at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Thousands of honeybees in the Preserve’s apiary have been busily pollinating the grounds all summer – and the hives are now full of fresh honey that we extract and bottle as Guggenheim Estate Golden Honey. Participants can observe the process – and several guests will be invited to roll up their sleeves and help with the harvesting. Adults and families are welcome – children 6 years and up.

Admission: $10 per car / Free with Annual Pass. Pre-registration is requested at 516.571.7901 or email info@friendsspp.org with your name and number of adults and children.
