Lake Success' Colliers International Senior Executive Director Receiving Inaugural W.D. Boyce Award
Gus Nuzzolese, Senior Executive Director with Colliers International in Lake Success will receive the inaugural W.D. Boyce Award

Massapequa, NY, August 25, 2014 — The Theodore Roosevelt Council serves over 10,000 youth and 3,500 adult volunteers in Nassau County. The Council provides programs for every child regardless of their circumstances, neighborhood, or ethnic background. However, not all communities can provide a scouting experience for its youth, due to financial hardship. The Boy Scouts of America, recognizing this need in underserved neighborhoods, developed the Scoutreach Program. Scoutreach meets the developmental needs of youth in many neighborhoods considered at-risk within Nassau County. The Scoutreach program emphasizes ethics, citizenship, leadership, moral values and many social concerns of parents and youth in our neighborhoods, through the tenets of the Scout Oath and Law.
On Thursday September 11, 2014 at 6:30 p.m., the Theodore Roosevelt Council will host its William D. Boyce Cocktail Reception and Fundraiser at Port Washington Yacht Club, located at 1 Yacht Club Drive in Port Washington, NY, benefiting the Council’s Scoutreach Program. The Council is honored to announce Gus Nuzzolese, a Port Washington resident and Senior Executive Director with Colliers International in Lake Success, NY, as the recipient of its first W.D. Boyce Award, which is named after William D. Boyce, the businessman whose foresight and determination brought the Boy Scouts to America and is given to a hardworking citizen and businessman who is “living a Scout-Like life.”
