Learn all about Birds of Long Island at Sands Point Preserve

Family educational programs continue at Sands Point Preserve, with Birds of Long Island on Sunday, May 17.
That’s when members of the Volunteers for Wildlife Meet will introduce and share insights about feathered friends – owls, hawks, crows and ducks – during a live animal presentation. Offered at 11 a.m, and 11:30 a.m., the program is followed by a family craft.
Pre-registration is required for family programs. Email your name, preferred session start time and the number of adults and children (with their ages) to info@friendsspp.org. Admission is $15 per car or $5 with Annual Pass.

Friends of the Sands Point Preserve is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to protect and preserve the 216-acre waterfront grounds and historic mansions and to provide a range of cultural arts events and educational programs for families and schools in the Phil Dejana Learning Center and Outdoor Classroom.
