Little Sprouts Celebrate Cinco de Mayo

Donning sombreros and shaking maracas, the students at Little Sprouts Preschool in New Hyde Park celebrated Cinco de Mayo on May 5th. The students enjoyed special snacks like tortilla chips and salsa, sang and counted in Spanish, read stories about the holiday, and learned the Mexican hat dance. Little Sprouts Preschool is a ministry of the Christ Lutheran Church in New Hyde Park. The church is having a yard sale on May 10th from 9:00 to 4:00.
