National Weather Service Increases Snowfall Prediction for New Hyde Park

The NWS forecast:
- Wednesday: Rain before 10am, then rain and snow between 10am and 1pm, then snow after 1pm. Temperature falling to around 35 by 3pm. Wind chill values between 25 and 35. North wind 10 to 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
- Wednesday Night: Snow, mainly before 10pm. Low around 33. Wind chill values between 25 and 30. Breezy, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to 9 to 14 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
