Domenico Pietromonaco of New Hyde Park was honored recently for earning his Eagle Scout Award.
Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America. The title of Eagle Scout is held for life, giving rise to the phrase “Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.”
Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano honored Pietromonaco. Also on hand to celebrate are representatives from the Theodore Roosevelt Council, Boy Scouts of America; Jay Garee (Scout Executive/CEO), Eric Anderson (Council Commander), Sal Ciampo (Council President), and Gerald Kaiser (Past President).
