Provost Park Gets An Upgrade
Construction at the park is nearly completed, officials say.
Construction at Provost Park in New Hyde Park is nearing completion, officials said.
This $65,000 construction project was part of North Hempstead’s 2014-2018 capital plan approved by the Town Board earlier this year. This phase of the project repaved the walkways with 18 tons of asphalt and added in new paved tree boxes.
The next stage of this project will include installation of new water fountains.
