Town of North Hempstead To Hold Sept. 11 Memorial Service

On Thursday, Sept. 11, the Town of North Hempstead will hold a Memorial Service at 8:30 a.m. at Mary Jane Davies Green, on Plandome Road, Manhasset across the street from Town Hall. This service is open to the public.

“The ceremony serves to provide all who endured the tragedy of September11th to reflect upon its impact and remember those we lost that day,” Town Clerk Wayne Wink said.

“This Memorial Service allows us to gather together as a community to honor and pay respect to those who lost their lives, and to heal with those who lost loved ones 13 years ago,” Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth said.
